Air Quality Project Manager
AIR QUALITY PROJECT MANAGER
This project manager position will focus on air permitting and regulatory compliance for industrial clients. As the Project Manager you will conduct a portion of the technical work while also overseeing a team of professionals to deliver projects to our industrial clients that may include NSR permitting, federal operating permits (Title V), state and federal permit compliance, and NSPS and MACT compliance for a wide variety of industries. The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to work with staff and clients to develop efficient solutions to meet regulatory requirement, perform engineering calculations and evaluations, and propose solutions to client needs accordingly. Demonstrated ability to perform business development and sales is advantageous but not required.
The ideal candidate will have 7 -10 years of related Air Quality experience and a minimum of a Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering degree. Experience in Air Quality engineering and regulations in a consulting, industrial, or agency setting in the following areas: new source permitting (PSD and non-attainment), air emission control technology reviews, emissions inventory and Title V permitting, and regulatory compliance evaluations. This position requires an understanding of Federal air quality regulations and policies and emerging regulatory programs. Candidate must be able to seek out projects and provide solutions where necessary.
Competencies desired include: Demonstrated supervision and leadership skills, data management and interpretation skills; effective written and verbal communication skills as well as expertise in spreadsheets and word processing are required. Responsible for interpreting, coordinating, and executing specific task assignments; demonstrate outstanding listening skills to capture pertinent information and effectively communicate that information to and lead other team members; ability to anticipate clients needs; attention to detail.
